Do you have a passion for making great coffee, serving delicious food, and leading a team to deliver an exceptional for your customers? Join us as the Cafe Manager at Collective Café, located at the Dovedale Campus, where you'll oversee a busy, thriving café.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Experience: Lead the Front of House team to ensure outstanding service and a welcoming atmosphere for every customer.
- Operations: Oversee daily café operations, including cash handling, stock control, and pricing to drive profitability. Jump in as needed to assist with food prep duties and ensure the café runs smoothly.
- Menu & Offerings: Ensure the food cabinet is always stocked with fresh, high-quality offerings, and the menu reflects top notch options for customers.
- Staff Leadership: Maintain high standards of service, product quality, and teamwork.
- Promotion: Develop and implement promotional initiatives to boost sales and engage customers.
What We're Looking For:
Experience:
- 2-5 years prior experience in a busy café or food & beverage outlet.
- At least 2 years’ experience in leading a team.
Personal Attributes:
- Excellent customer service, with a positive and professional demeanour.
- Honest, reliable, and able to work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- Ability to supervise staff and foster a team environment.
- Friendly, approachable, and committed to high standards of personal hygiene.
