Cafe Chef / Cafe Assistant – Full-Time

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cafe Chef / Cafe Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy cafe environment and takes pride in preparing fresh food, keeping things organised, and maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Preparing and cooking all cafe food items to a high standard.

Carrying out daily food preparation for breakfast, lunch, and other menu items.

Taking stock, checking deliveries, and helping with inventory control.

Labelling, dating, and storing all food items correctly.

Following food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations at all times.

Keeping the kitchen, food preparation areas, and storage areas clean and organised.

Washing dishes and assisting with general cleaning duties when required.

Helping to make coffees and serve customers when needed.

Supporting the team in keeping the cafe clean, tidy, and running smoothly throughout the day.

Requirements

Previous experience in a cafe, kitchen, deli, or food preparation role is preferred.

Good knowledge of food hygiene and safe food handling practices.

Ability to work well as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work Monday to Friday.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Friendly attitude and willingness to help with different areas of the cafe when needed.

About the Role

This role is a mix of kitchen food preparation, general cafe duties, and team support. We are looking for someone who is organised, dependable, and happy to help wherever needed to keep the cafe running efficiently.

Pay: €14.15 per hour
