Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Cake Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and decorating cakes, with a strong understanding of food safety and preparation. This role is essential in creating visually appealing and delicious cakes for our customers, ensuring that each cake meets our high standards of quality and presentation.

Duties

• Decorate cakes using various techniques, including piping, fondant work, and airbrushing to create unique designs.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their vision and preferences for custom cake orders.
• Prepare and bake cakes, ensuring consistency in flavor and texture.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety standards.
• Package finished cakes for delivery or display while ensuring they are presented attractively.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring supplies and placing orders as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and providing recommendations.

Experience

• Previous experience in cake decorating or a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of baking techniques, food preparation, and food handling practices is essential.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in baking and decorating.
• Strong attention to detail with an artistic flair for design.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
