About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Cake Decorator to join our Bakery Production Kitchen team. The ideal candidate will bring finishing skills and piping techniques to complement our existing team and help elevate the quality and creativity of our products. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to grow and contribute in a dynamic, high-volume bakery environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Decorate cakes, pastries, and specialty desserts with high attention to detail and creativity.
• Execute piping, glazing, garnishing, and finishing techniques to achieve consistent quality and presentation.
• Collaborate with the bakery team to meet production schedules and retail demands.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and organization within the decorating station.
• Support product innovation by contributing creative ideas and assisting with seasonal/holiday launches.
• Assist with packaging and presentation to ensure products meet Summerhill’s standards.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across bakery production to support daily operations as required.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Cake Decorator or in a similar role (bakery, pastry, culinary) is an asset.
• Strong finishing skills with proficiency in piping and decorative techniques.
• A creative eye with a commitment to producing high-quality, visually appealing baked goods.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
• Flexibility to work either Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday, full-time.
• A positive team player with a passion for baking and customer satisfaction.
