Deel is seeking a Campaign and Operations Manager, Events to drive event marketing strategy, sales enablement, and operational efficiencies across our global events program. Sitting at the intersection of event marketing, lifecycle marketing, sales enablement, and operations, this role ensures that our event investments generate maximum engagement, pipeline, and revenue impact.
We are a lean team managing a robust and high-impact portfolio of global events, spanning sponsored, proprietary, and partner-driven activations. This means that our team members wear multiple hats, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are highly proactive in driving results. The ideal candidate will be comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution, ensuring that both event campaigns and operations are optimized for scale and impact.
This role will be responsible for:
Strategizing and executing event campaigns in partnership with Lifecycle, Social, and Regional Marketing teams.
Enhancing sales enablement efforts, working closely with the Sales Enablement team to improve pre-event outreach, in-event engagement, and post-event follow-ups.
Optimizing event operations by collaborating with Marketing Ops and Analytics teams to streamline lead management, tracking, and reporting.
This is a highly collaborative role, working cross-functionally with regional event managers, lifecycle marketing, demand generation, social media, sales enablement, marketing ops, and analytics teams to ensure our events are data-driven, impactful, and aligned with business goals.
If you thrive in a fast-moving, high-growth environment where no two days are the same, enjoy taking ownership of high-impact projects, and can balance both strategy and execution, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Campaign Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute pre-, during-, and post-event marketing campaigns to drive attendance, engagement, and lead generation.
Partner with Lifecycle Marketing to design and optimize email campaigns and nurture sequences for event invitations, confirmations, and post-event follow-ups.
Work with the Social and Paid Media teams to amplify event promotions, including organic, paid, and influencer-driven campaigns.
Collaborate with Regional Marketing teams to align event promotions with broader go-to-market (GTM) campaigns and audience segmentation strategies.
Forecast event registration pacing, analyze trends, and adjust marketing strategies to optimize attendance and conversion rates.
Sales Enablement & Lead Management
Partner with Sales Enablement team to develop sales enablement materials, including talk tracks, event battle cards, outreach sequences, and follow-up frameworks and train sales reps on pre-event prospecting and post-event follow-up best practices.
Work with Rev- and MarketingOps to ensure seamless lead capture, enrichment, and routing for post-event engagement.
Own post-event reporting and insights to track lead-to-opportunity conversion rates and event ROI.
Event Operations & Process Optimization
Streamline internal event processes, including lead uploading, enrichment, tracking, and reporting.
Work with Marketing Ops to improve CRM integration and automation for event-generated leads.
Partner with Analytics teams to develop event dashboards, track engagement, and report on pipeline impact.
Ensure event operations run seamlessly, working with cross-functional teams to remove roadblocks and optimize workflows.
Maintain event data hygiene within CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Braze, etc.).
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as the bridge between Events, Marketing, and Sales, ensuring full alignment on event goals, audience targeting, and follow-up strategies.
Work with Product & Regional Marketing and Brand teams to align event messaging with overall campaign themes and GTM strategies.
Collaborate with regional event managers to ensure global events follow best practices for engagement and operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
5+ years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, demand generation, or campaign management, preferably in a B2B SaaS or high-growth tech environment.
Proven experience in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns for in-person and virtual events.
Strong understanding of sales enablement strategies and experience working with sales teams to drive event engagement.
Experience managing event operations, lead management workflows, and marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Braze, Salesforce, etc.).
Demonstrated ability to forecast event registration pacing, analyze trends, and adjust marketing strategies to optimize attendance and conversion rates.
Highly data-driven, with experience tracking and optimizing event ROI, pipeline influence, and lead conversion metrics (Looker, Salesforce, etc.).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, balancing multiple events and priorities simultaneously.
