About the Position
Outpost Campers is looking for a Camper Production Specialist to join our composite camper shell production team. This role reports to the Camper Shell Production Manager and focuses on assembling the exterior of our camper bodies, with additional tasks including interior outfitting, electrical wiring, and other tasks needed for the construction of composite camper bodies. Team members also assist with warranty work, inventory management, and shop upkeep.
Tools used include caulking guns, chop saws, drills, grinders, impact drivers, and various other hand and power tools. We also use project management software accessible via smartphones and tablets. This is a physical job and will require being on your feet, lifting items over 50 lbs., standing on ladders, etc.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs., stand for long periods, and work on ladders
- General construction or carpentry experience is a plus (willing to train the right candidate)
- Willingness to learn specialized camper-building techniques
- Reliable transportation to our facility in Bayfield, CO
- Work schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7 AM - 5 PM (4-day workweek with 3-day weekends!)

Compensation & Hiring Process:
- Starting pay: $18/hr, increasing to $20/hr after a successful 4-week probationary period
- Additional benefits (PTO, gym membership, and other perks) after 6 months of employment
- Regular performance-based pay reviews
