Cannabis Processing Technician

Location: Uxbridge, MA

Department: Processing & Production

Reports to: Processing Manager / Lead Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Cannabis Processing Technician to join our team in Uxbridge, MA. This role is responsible for assisting with post-harvest cannabis operations, including trimming, curing, packaging, labeling, and maintaining compliance with Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) regulations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong attention to detail, and work well both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with all aspects of cannabis post-harvest operations, including trimming, curing, weighing, and packaging.

- Accurately package and label cannabis products in compliance with CCC regulations.

- Maintain accurate records of weights, batch numbers, and inventory through seed-to-sale software (e.g., METRC).

- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance.

- Ensure work areas are kept clean, organized, and free of contaminants.

- Maintain strict product quality standards through careful handling and attention to detail.

- Support inventory counts and audits as required.

- Comply with all company policies, safety guidelines, and state regulations.

Qualifications

- Must be 21 years or older and able to pass all background checks per CCC requirements.

- High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework in horticulture, biology, chemistry, or related field a plus).

- Prior experience in cannabis, agriculture, food production, or manufacturing preferred but not required.

- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.

- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Must be comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures and conditions.

- Basic computer literacy and ability to use tracking software (METRC experience preferred).

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion.

- Ability to bend, crouch, and reach for extended periods.

- Manual dexterity for handling delicate plant material.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
