Growtown Cannabis is a licensed producer just south of Kemptville, ON looking for a full-time Cannabis Production & Finishing staff member. We are a small but growing team who is seeking a fast learner and a team player as we establish ourselves in the Cannabis industry.

In this position you will primarily trim cannabis, roll pre-rolls, and package both flower and concentrate products. You will also be responsible for material handling and production reporting and maintaining a safe work environment.

Attention to detail and a willingness to work as part of a team are essential to success in this role.

As we are a fast moving workplace, initiative and reasonable flexibility will be key for the short term while our team develops.

As we are a secure facility, we are unable to accept walk-in applications at this time.

Responsibilities:

• Trim cannabis flower to meet quality and presentation standards
• Roll pre-rolls accurately and efficiently
• Package and label both flower and concentrate products
• Operate basic devices and machines including but not limited to scales and heat sealers
• Perform material handling and complete production reporting accurately
• Clean and maintain your immediate workspace, and participate in broader facility cleaning activities
• Cooperate with Quality Control to ensure a clean and safe workplace for you, the team, and the product
• Bring a proactive mindset to safety, quality, productivity, and waste reduction

Requirements:

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
• Manufacturing/production experience not required, but is an asset
• Personal protective equipment will be provided (Hair net, beard net, lab coat/scrubs/coveralls, steel toe shoes as areas requires) but personal washable PPE may be substituted upon review.
• Able to work a set scheduled shift schedule up to 37.5 hours

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
