We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team and ensure the overall success of our new location.

Job Description:

The Car Wash General Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, and driving the success of our car wash. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in staff supervision and management, strong leadership qualities, and the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Management:
• Oversee and coordinate daily operations to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional customer service.
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures.
• Operate equipment including pay stations, credit card machines, and POS systems.
• Team Leadership:
• Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team of car wash attendants and support staff.
• Foster a positive employee environment by providing guidance, training, and support.
• Assist in maintaining site cleanliness and appearance to ensure the highest level of site appeal.
• Customer Service:
• Ensure an exceptional customer experience from entry to exit.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and courteously.
• Foster customer relations to drive volume, sales, and profitability.
• Financial Management:
• Manage budgets, expenses, and financial reporting.
• Develop strategies to increase revenue and control costs.
• Maintenance & Safety:
• Oversee maintenance of car wash equipment and facility cleanliness.
• Handle weekly and monthly maintenance schedules, including greasing bearings and cleaning chemical dispensers.
• Learn and develop mechanical skills for level 1 equipment support.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Marketing & Promotion:
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotions and customer retention programs.
• Engage with the local community to build brand awareness.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a General Manager in the car wash industry.
• Proven experience in staff supervision and management.
• Strong leadership qualities with a track record of success.
• Ability to lift no more than 75 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Must have reliable transportation and be available to work 40 hours per week, including weekends, with a varying schedule.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Proficient in operational and financial management.
• Knowledge of car wash equipment maintenance and safety protocols.
