Northern Metalic Lubricants Ltd. in Smithers, BC is currently seeking an individual to fill the position of: Cardlock/Warehouse Attendant

Northern Metalic Lubricants Ltd. is an established, independent Industrial Supplier with stores across Alberta and BC.

The Cardlock/Warehouse Attendant is responsible for the delivery of exceptional customer service at the Cardlock. This includes material handling and ensuring order accuracy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Cardlock/Warehouse Attendant’s primary responsibilities are, but are not limited to, the following:

· Material Handling

· Order Accuracy

· Cleaning and organizing the card lock site and buildings

· Reading pump volumes

· Dipping tanks daily and sending in data in a timely manner

· Greeting customers

· Help with potential issues

· Stocking warehouse

· Maintaining inventory levels

· Answering phones

· Liaison with 3rd party renter at site

· Billing customers for lubricant orders

· Yard maintenance (eg. Sweeping, mowing, shovel snow, garbage removal)

Qualifications:

· Previous warehouse experience

· Self-motivated

· Strong organizational skills

· Valid Class 5 Drivers License

· Clean Drivers Abstract

· Strong attention to detail

· Be able to read pick tickets and take instruction

· Forklift operator training

· WHMIS Training

· TDG Training

· Standard First Aid

· Customer site orientations as required

· Load Securement Training

Working Conditions:

· Work under time constraints

· Organize and prioritize daily schedule

· Standing

· Sitting for extended periods

· Work as part of a team or individually

· Working outside (exposure to elements)

Physical Requirements:

· Able to lift, carry and move heavy objects, up to 50 lbs.

· Standing for periods of time

· Sitting for extended periods of time (driving)

· Finger dexterity

· Ability to lift product overhead

· Walking

· Ability to tie down material for transport

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Experience:

• warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
