Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, whether they are residing in a home, assisted living facility, or group home. Caregivers will be responsible for delivering personalized care while ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity for each individual.
Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client conditions.
- Prepare meals according to dietary needs and preferences while ensuring proper nutrition.
- Administer medications as prescribed and assist with care plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Support clients with mobility needs, including the use of Hoyer lifts when necessary.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and interaction.
- Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Skills
- First aid and CPR certification are highly desirable.
- Experience in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or hospice care is preferred.
- Strong patient observation skills to recognize changes in health status or behavior.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility challenges.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality and privacy.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other disabilities is a plus.
- Proficiency in meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to client needs.
- Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques and vital sign assessment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
