Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated CAREGIVER fluent in Spanish to join our team in providing exceptional in-home and community-based care. In this vital role, you will support individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, those with developmental disabilities, and individuals living with dementia or Alzheimer’s. Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs and observe for any changes in health or behavior, documenting findings accurately while maintaining HIPAA compliance
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding as required
  • Administer medications following care plans and ensure proper documentation of medication administration
  • Support clients with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer’s care, creating a safe environment that minimizes confusion or agitation
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living space to promote overall well-being
  • Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to foster mental stimulation and emotional support

Requirements

  • Fluent in Spanish with excellent communication skills to effectively connect with clients and their families
  • Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, group homes, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of first aid, CPR certification, and basic patient monitoring techniques
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or dementia is advantageous
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate mobility aids like Hoyer lifts when necessary
  • Strong understanding of care plans, medication administration protocols, and HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and safety
  • Compassionate attitude with excellent observational skills to monitor patient health and respond promptly to emergencies

Pay: $12.99 - $13.00 per hour
