Summary:
Reporting to the COO for Asia Pacific, you will optimize the vessel loading for all Commercial Lines and ensure the quality of service in compliance with the Group strategy and main KPIs. The Cargo Flow Manager is the owner of all the OPEX KPIs within a defined scope and will implement processes to achieve the yearly target. The Cargo Flow Manager is also in charge of the team development and the long term HR strategy of the team.
Main Responsibilities:
Suggest and initiate short/ long term action plans in case of over or underused allocation
Define priorities and participate in the arbitration of potential disagreements within the Line (agents, commercial managers, partners, operations)
Conduct studies to find areas of improvement, structural & optimization problem solving
Participate in the development of new services in coordination with Line Direction (if needed)
Guarantee a service of quality (routing, transit time) through main KPIs requested by the Direction
Monitor actively the important evolution of systems and processes
Evaluate and plan the different modifications of cargo flow day-to-day, and participate in transversal projects in order to suggest enhancements, adapt methods and tools if necessary
Organize and implement Group processes (optimization, customer service, costs, Group KPIs) according to Line specificities
Monitor and assess tools to anticipate major risks and implement an improvement process
Ensure training and monitor Cargoflow skill level regularly for his/her team (Business, Cargoflow process, IT system…)
Responsible for management of the team and planning organization (holiday organization, back up plan, activity assessment…)
Must review common objectives with manager and supervisor and run Yearly Performance Evaluation for his/her team
Participate to the recruitment process (assessment, interviews…)
Ensure a high level of team engagement whilst actively creating and contributing towards a winning culture.
Minimum Requirements:
Diploma or Degree holder with 5 years of experience in International Trade, Transport or Logistics and the Shipping industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other IT tools
Strong in working with figures and have an analytical mind
