About Us:
As a provider of custom carpentry solutions, we work on a variety of projects, from residential homes to commercial buildings. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled carpenter to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
Responsibilities:
- Standing of pre-constructed timber frame houses
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Roof work (trussed & traditional cut roofs)
- Interpret and execute blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.
- Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks or props.
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
Key skills & experience:
- Proven experience as a carpenter (minimum 3 years preferred).
- Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools.
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
- Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
- Excellent understanding of safety standards and procedures.
- Physical stamina and dexterity.
- Successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is a plus.
Requirements:
- Valid Safe Pass
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Must be reliable & punctual
Immediate start available. Salary is based on qualifications & experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
Pay: €18.00-€26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 39 per week
Additional pay:
- Overtime pay
Flexible language requirement:
- English not required
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
Work Location: In person
