We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our residential and commercial Property Management/Real Estate Company in the Easton, Pa. area. Carpenter oversees all the work involved in the upkeep of rental properties. This is a full-time year round standard 40 hour work week with rotating on-call weekend responsibility. Qualified candidates are to be energetic, responsible, self-motivated and experienced in the following areas: painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, HVAC and other general labor trades. Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and access to own tools. Apply ONLY if you meet the above qualifications.

This is a position that requires ability to work on your own, complete repair orders in a timely manner and comply with required job reporting paperwork.

Responsibilities requirements but not limited to:

  • Install, maintain, and repair a wide variety of products including: cabinets, drywall, doors, windows, tile, flooring and other major remodeling items.
  • Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge for renovation work
  • Drywall finishing
  • Flooring, framing, painting, and cabinetry knowledge
  • Installation of a wide variety of accessibility products
  • Perform work in accordance with safety best practices
  • Conduct inspections and identify needed repairs
  • Document repairs and maintain thorough records
  • Cut, shape, and alter materials as needed
  • Measure and mark materials for alterations
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
  • Estimate time and extent of repairs
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance
  • Maintain material and supply inventory
  • Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary. Previous experience in maintenance for 3 plus years or other related fields
  • Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
  • Qualifications:
  • Deadline and detail oriented
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Must have a clean driving record - Valid Driver's License
  • Arrive on time to all work orders
  • Follow company procedures
  • Respond promptly to company calls, texts, emails
  • Ensure all safety / security measures are taken such as shutting off all lights, locking doors, returning keys
  • Provide excellent customer service to tenants
  • Must have dependable vehicle with up to date insurance, inspection and registration

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $26.00 per hour
