Job Overview
We are seeking a self-employed skilled Tradesman to join our team to work on a number of projects in Coventry, Leicester and Northampton. Whilst carpentry is the main trade requirement, the ideal candidate will possess basic skills in other trade areas such as cold water plumbing, tiling, flooring and painting & decorating.

Duties

• Fire door fitting (Essential)
• Painting & decorating incl. preparing and priming surfaces
• Floor and wall tiling
• Installation of replacement kitchen units and worktops (Essential)
• Installation of sinks and cold water appliances
• Repair and replacement of toilets, baths and basins
• Tap replacement
• Shower paneling
• Shower enclosure installation
• Basic carpentry incl. door hanging & installation of skirting boards (Essential)
• Basic general building works incl. repointing, fencing, self levelling
• Window and door lock repair and replacement (Essential)

• Plumbing
• Carpentry

• Experienced in the use of a range of hand held power tools
• Proficient in the use of non motorized hand held tools
• Solution focused and calm under pressure
• Methodical with attention to detail
• Good verbal communicator
• Kind and caring

Person Specification

• Self-employed (CIS registered)
• Own van & tools
• Willing to travel across the Midlands
• PPE/Workwear

We will supply the successful candidate with a Company Credit Card for consumables and branded workwear.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £170.00 per day
