Carpenter / Roofer – Property Maintenance

Brosnans Property Solutions Ltd. is currently recruiting for an experienced Carpenter / Roofer to join our growing facilities management team.

We provide reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance, repairs, and refurbishment services across residential, commercial, and social housing sectors throughout Munster.

This is a hands-on, multi-skilled role suited to a qualified and experienced Carpenter / Roofer with a strong background in property maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out roofing repairs and general roof maintenance works
• Complete chimney repairs, leadwork, flashing repairs, and installations
• Replace tiles, slates, ridges, and associated roof components
• Carry out 1st fix and 2nd fix carpentry works
• Assist with refurbishment works, including stud framing, drylining/slabbing, and general joinery
• Identify maintenance issues and complete repairs safely and efficiently
• Ensure all works are completed to a high standard
• Follow all health and safety requirements on site
• Communicate professionally with clients, tenants, suppliers, and property managers
• Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in carpentry and/or roofing
• Valid Safe Pass
• Valid Manual Handling Certificate
• Full, clean driving licence
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable

• MEWP certification
• Own tools
• Good spoken English
