Entry-Level Carpenter / Apprentice – Double Jointed Stairs & Railing

Full-Time | $20–$25/hour | Start Immediately

Double Jointed Stairs & Railing is a locally owned company specializing in the building, installation, and maintenance of high-quality custom stairs and railings. We take pride in craftsmanship, safety, and a positive, team-focused work environment.

About the Role:
We’re looking for an entry-level carpenter to join our team! This position is ideal for someone looking to begin or continue their carpentry apprenticeship, or anyone with basic experience using power tools who’s eager to learn and grow in the trade.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in building, installing, and maintaining stairs and railings
• Work safely and efficiently under the supervision of experienced carpenters
• Maintain a clean and organized job site
• Handle materials and equipment safely (lifting up to 50+ lbs)

Requirements:

• Class 5 driver’s license and reliable vehicle are NON-NEGOTIABLE most sites not accessible by transit)
• Basic experience with hand and power tools
• Steel toe boots and other required PPE
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn — apprenticeship opportunities available
