Carpentry Apprentice / Carpenter – Residential Renovations & Roofing

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Carpentry Apprentice & Qualified Carpenter to join our growing team, working on high-quality residential renovation and roofing projects across Dublin and surrounding counties.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all stages of renovation work, while developing your skills alongside experienced tradespeople. The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering high-end bespoke projects to a consistently high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with a range of residential renovation works, including demolition, groundwork preparation, and structural carpentry.
  • Carry out first fix carpentry and roofing work including joists, studwork, and structural framing.
  • Complete second fix carpentry including skirting boards, architraves, flooring installation, and door hanging.
  • Support roofing installation and repair work as required.
  • Work closely with experienced carpenters and tradespeople to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Develop and progress your skills through SOLAS apprenticeship training (where applicable).

Requirements

  • Strong work ethic with a reliable and proactive attitude.
  • Genuine interest in developing a career in carpentry and construction.
  • Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates are required.
  • Previous experience in construction or carpentry is desirable but not essential for apprentices.
  • Own transport is required, as project locations vary.

Locations

Projects are based across Dublin, Kildare, North Wicklow, and County Meath.

Working Hours

  • 7:30am – 4:00pm
  • Overtime opportunities available

Contract length: 1 month

Pay: €9.00-€25.00 per hour
