About The Position
Location: Port Augusta
Status: Part Time FTE 0.5

The Youth Homelessness Service provides professional support to young people aged 15-25 who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless.
As the Case Manager, you will provide a service for homeless clients within the region through the provision of case management. The outcome of which is to facilitate the process of moving clients toward independent and / or safe housing.

Skills and Experiences:
You will:
- Have a commitment to, and an understanding of, youth issues particularly in relation to youth homelessness.
- Have strong relationship building and communication skills.
- Possess initiative, flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the development of the service.
- Be able to work under pressure, organise priorities and meet deadlines.
- Current Australian Drivers Licence.
- Certificate lV (or above) in a Human Services related discipline e.g. Youth Work, Community Services, Case Management, Disability, Mental Health, etc.
- Relevant experience, in a paid or voluntary capacity.
You may also need to be available for some out of hours work and travel between Uniting Country SA sites or interstate as required.
