Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/Customer Service Associate working the 2nd and 3rd shifts! Duties

  • Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
  • Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product information with excellent phone etiquette
  • Conduct product demos to showcase new or featured items, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities
  • Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cash, credit/debit card transactions, and balancing registers at shift end
  • Assist with merchandising by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store remains clean and inviting
  • Support inventory management through stock checks and participating in regular stock replenishment activities
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing concerns promptly and professionally in a retail grocery environment

Experience

  • Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math to handle transactions confidently
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
  • Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities or team support roles
  • Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
  • Knowledge of merchandising techniques and product demos enhances sales performance
  • Ability to handle busy periods with professionalism while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
