Introduction:
This role is critical in ensuring robust supply performance, supporting sales growth, driving category strategy, and strengthening relationships across customers, suppliers, and growers. You will play a key role in delivering reliable supply, optimising category profitability, and supporting the successful introduction of new products to market.
Our preferred location for this role is Sydney (Homebush), but exceptional candidates may be based at one of our other sites.

Description:
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Customer & Category Growth
Build strong customer relationships to achieve category targets.
Identify and convert new business opportunities.
Deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues quickly.
Prepare reports, analyse data, and monitor market trends.
Category Planning & Supply Performance
Contribute to category plans across volume, quality, supply, risk, and freight.
Support volume forecasting and validate sales forecasts.
Assist with long-term category strategy and requirements.
Monitor and adjust supply performance as needed.
Sales Growth & Product Development
Research and recommend new products or line extensions.
Support NPD launches and conduct product trials.
Recommend products to maintain or grow revenue.
Assist with contingency supply planning.
Supply Management
Support supply plans aligned with S&OP.
Manage allocation of returnable packaging.
Work with seed/breeding partners to ensure schedule compliance.
Monitor supply vs. plan and report variances.
Maintain >99% DIFOTQ through effective stock management.
Ensure sourcing meets Approved Supplier Program standards.
Manage supplier/transport non-conformance and communicate delivery requirements.
Grower Management
Build and maintain strong grower relationships, including supplier recruitment
Ensure Suppliers meet Approved Supplier standards.
Conduct seasonal supplier reviews and support on-farm improvements.
Price & Margin Management
Understand grower costs and supply constraints.
Support pricing and margin optimisation.
Determine and communicate payback prices.
Work with packing teams to understand WIP/processing costs.
Skills and Experiences:
WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT
Tertiary qualification (degree or diploma) in Agriculture, Horticulture, or related studies.
3–5 years’ experience in supply and/or sales within the fresh produce industry.
Willingness to undertake regular domestic travel as required by the role.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
Advanced consultation and negotiation capabilities, enabling effective engagement with a wide range of stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and support informed decision-making.
Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with internal teams, external customers, and suppliers.
