KP Gallen Foods Limited t/a Bon Appetit is a company primarily producing high-quality ready-made meals for distribution to retail. Due to expansion, we are currently seeking Catering Assistants to join our production team. Our production facility is based in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

This position involves a wide range of duties and responsibilities, including:

• Setting up packing room equipment.
• Always complying with Company Policies and Procedures.
• Understand Food Safety and HACCP and adhere to all food safety standards consistently.
• To produce and pack meals to the highest standard.
• Reporting any product, package or machine deficiencies to the Production Supervisor or Management.
• Supporting other relevant personnel to ensure that production runs smoothly, safely and efficiently, resulting in the output of products which are of the highest quality, in line with company guidelines.
• Cleaning duties as required to ensure that a high standard of hygiene and a safe, organised work environment is always maintained.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in similar roles would be an advantage.
• Strong work ethic, with motivation to achieve production targets.
• Ability to work at a fast pace in a production environment.
• Teamwork and positive interpersonal skills.
• Must be flexible to work on morning, afternoon or weekend shifts as start times and days may vary, dependent upon business demands.
• Food Safety Cert would be advantageous, but training can be provided.
• Manual Handling Cert would be advantageous, but training can be provided.
• This is an ideal opportunity for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals who will ideally have experience working in food production environments.

Pay: €12.70 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
