Location: Bedford Park, SA
Roster: Monday to Friday | 6:00 am - 1:30 pm

Cater Care is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our hospitality team at an education site in Bedford Park.

Working alongside our kitchen and service team, you'll help deliver quality meals and a welcoming dining experience for students and staff. From food preparation and service to keeping the dining environment clean and well presented, you'll play an important role in keeping the operation running smoothly.

This part-time, Monday-to-Friday opportunity is ideal for someone looking for consistent hours, evenings free and the opportunity to build their hospitality career with a growing national organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and set up breakfast, lunch and dinner service areas, including sandwich and salad bars
Deliver efficient and welcoming meal service to students while following site procedures
Replenish food, beverages, condiments and dining supplies throughout service
Assist with food preparation, stock replenishment and safe food storage
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen, servery and dining areas
Operate the dishwasher and assist with general kitchen and cleaning duties as required

Skills and Experiences:
About You

Previous experience in hospitality, catering, food service or a similar environment
Friendly, customer-focused approach with strong communication skills
Reliable team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Strong commitment to food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards
Organised, attentive to detail and able to follow procedures and instructions
Flexible and willing to assist across food preparation, service and general kitchen duties
