About the opportunity
This full-time role offers a consistent weekday roster with no late-night or weekend shifts. You’ll be responsible for preparing cold larder items, modifying meals to suit dietary needs, and maintaining high food safety standards. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys structured work in a supportive team, with the ability to work independently when required.

The Role:
Cater Care seeks to appoint a Catering Assistant at one of our key aged care residences in Eastwood

What This Role Involves:
What this role involves

Preparing meals
Special diet modifications including allergies and intolerances
Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen and dining areas
Ability to work independently performing various kitchen tasks
Delivering excellent customer service

Skills and Experiences:
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
