About the role:
Are you looking for flexible, part-time work that aligns with your school or study commitments?

We are hiring reliable Catering Assistants to join our team at an education site in Charters Towers, QLD. This role involves general catering duties and front counter service, offering school-friendly hours in a professional, supportive environment focused on quality food service and teamwork.

Roster: Monday to Thursday, 6:30am - 11:30am

What this role involves:

• Assisting with food preparation and serving meals and snacks in line with service standards
• Providing excellent customer service in a professional and friendly manner
• Re-stocking items as required during and after meal periods
• Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen and dining areas
• Setting tables, plating meals, and supporting the Chef with general kitchen duties
• Following all food safety and hygiene standards at all times

Skills and Experiences:
The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in food preparation and/or customer service
• Previous contract catering experience (desirable)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Flexibility, with the ability to adapt to busy and changing environments
• Strong customer service focus
