About The Role

As catering supervisor, you will play a vital role in organising catering to the boarding house and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our valued customers. From food preparation to service, your hands-on approach and commitment to high standards will ensure the smooth operation of this busy kitchen and dining environment.

Fixed Roster:

• Five days per week - During school term time
• Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing dining areas for service and serving meals to boarding students.
• Delivering friendly and efficient customer service.
• Serving customers in the café.
• Washing dishes and maintaining cleanliness in kitchen, service and dining areas.
• Assisting with food preparation, such as peeling/chopping vegetables, and making sandwiches and salads.
• Adhering to food hygiene, security, and safety practices at all times.

Skills and Experiences:
Key Attributes and Requirements:

• Driver’s License - Essential for this role.
• Prior experience in a busy kitchen environment.
• Proven ability to assist with various aspects of kitchen operations and food service.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to take direction effectively.
• Reliability and flexibility to accommodate rostered hours.
• Ability to comply with OH&S and food safety guidelines.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment during peak service periods.
