About the opportunity
This full-time role is based in the tuck shop at Shore School. You’ll be responsible for preparing food, operating the cash register, and serving students and staff in a fast-paced school setting. With early starts and no weekend work, this position is ideal for someone looking for reliable weekday hours during school terms.

What’s on offer

Monday to Friday – 7:00am to 2:30pm
Work during school terms only
No weekend or evening shifts

Description:
The Role:
Cater Care Gather seeks to appoint a Catering Assistant at one of our key education sites in North Sydney

Roster:
7am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday

What This Role Involves:
Assisting with food preparation
Customer service - serving our students meals and snacks
Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude

Skills and Experiences:
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience using a cash register
Experience preparing Food and selling products.
Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
Work with Children check
Flu vaccination
