Introduction:
Join our team as a Catering Assistant at Shore School, one of Sydney’s leading independent schools. You’ll play a key role in supporting food service for students and staff during evening meal periods and Saturday breakfast, all within a calm, well-organised school kitchen.

• Tuesday to Thursday: 3:30 PM to 8:30 PM
• Saturday: 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM
• Total: 19 hours/week

Description:
The Role:
Cater Care Gather is seeking to appoint a Catering Assistant at one of our key education sites in North Sydney.

Roster:
Tuesday to Thursday, 3:30pm to 8:30pm
Saturday, 6:00am to 10:00am

What This Role Involves:
Preparing and cutting salad and vegetable ingredients
Assisting with food preparation
Providing customer service – serving meals and snacks
Re-stocking as required, including after meal periods
Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen and dining areas
Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
Delivering fast, effective service during busy periods with a positive attitude

Skills and Experiences:
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
