This part-time weekend role offers 10 hours per week across Saturday and Sunday afternoons. You’ll support kitchen operations and meal service in a friendly, team-oriented environment where your contribution directly supports resident wellbeing. With no late-night work and attractive weekend rates, this is a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent weekend hours.

What’s on offer

Saturday and Sunday: 12:30pm – 5:30pm
5 hours per shift / 10 hours per week
Saturday rate: $32.31 per hour
Sunday rate: $38.78 per hour
No evening or split shifts

Description:
The Role:
Cater Care seeks to appoint a Catering Assistant at one of our key aged care residences in Orange

What This Role Involves:
Assisting with food preparation
Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
Prepare and present texture modified foods

Skills and Experiences:
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
