Food Village is an Irish school meals provider dedicated to transforming how post-primary students experience food at school. We deliver fresh, nutritious dining options with a strong focus on sustainability, supported by an easy-to-use digital ordering system.

We seek back up staff to cover schools within the region of Limerick.

We are now looking at hiring Quality Support Operatives who will be employed and retained on a Daily On-Call Retainer basis for the – Limerick Area.

A valid Drivers Licence and own transport is essential for this role.

Back up staff will be paid:

• A retainer of €150 euro per week.
• €50 euro per day on visit when required
• €€€Paid milage over 30km

Job Duties include:

• Be available from Mon-Fri (7.30am-2.30pm)
• Complete a minimum of one site visit per week as directed by your line manager.
• Train new canteen operatives on site.
• Support the operations team in new school openings.
• Provide induction days for 1st year students
• Providing cover for holiday/sick days
• Prepare the service area
• Stock service stations
• Load ovens
• Serve food and drinks
• Clean tables and dining areas
• Maintaining customer satisfaction
• Excellent communication skills
• HACCP training is desirable but not necessary
• No prior experience is required but a background in hospitality is preferable.

Experience Required:

• Full flexibility during school hours
• No experience required - full training will provided
