Job Overview

We are hiring for the position of Catering General Manager. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and possess strong leadership skills to oversee catering operations effectively.

Responsibilities

  • To assist in the recruiting and training of permanent and casual staff.
  • To organise, lead and motivate your team.
  • To ensure health and safety regulations are strictly observed.
  • To budget and establish financial targets and forecasts in association with the Financial Controller.
  • To manage the daily cleaning and up keep of the premises, establish daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules and ensure they are signed off by each department.
  • To keep financial and administrative records.
  • To manage the payroll, costed rosters and review with Financial Controller.
  • To negotiate contracts with customers, assessing their requirements and ensuring they are satisfied with the service delivered.
  • To deal with staffing and client issues.

Management responsibilities:

  • To ensure that the company Vision & Mission statement is communicated, understood and lived
  • To attend assigned meetings as required
  • To accept a flexible work schedule necessary for your attendance at special events
  • To provide support where necessary in other areas of the business
  • To carry out any reasonable additional business related requests from colleagues

  • Demonstrates high levels of energy, enthusiasm and professionalism
  • Encourages the team towards company and individual objectives and aims

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €32,004.19-€58,373.87 per year

Work Location: In person
