Cctv Operator

What's the job?

Intergroup are New Zealand's Infrastructure and Industrial Services specialists, delivering services in waste management, industrial services and coatings and infrastructure. You may not have heard of us, but we do a lot - and we've got aspirations to be number one in every area we deliver. The only thing stopping us is needing more people! That's where you come in, are you up for the challenge?

You'll be responsible for CCTV Inspection of underground infrastructure, such as water, sewer, or storm pipelines. You will provide accurate diagnosis of potential problems or concerns, such as structural deteriorations, blockages by roots or debris, or misalignment. You must be able to operate CCTV equipment in a safe and professional manner.

The hours of work will be Monday to Sunday, 40-50 hours a week

We're hoping you'll be enthusiastic and have a can-do attitude, along with good communication skills. You may be required to work out of town from time to time.

The technical stuff you'll need includes:

• minimum one year experience in the operation of this type of equipment
• a working knowledge of day-to-day job planning and instructions to meet contract requirements
• knowledge of standard methods, materials, tools, equipment, and procedures used to conduct video inspections of underground infrastructure
• exposure to and knowledge of comprehensive safety management systems including Hazard Analysis
• skills including assigning work, training, and implementing work standards
• the flexibility to work after hours as and when required.
