We are looking for a CEO Bars Luxembourg
Aperam Services & Solutions recruits a CEO to be located in our office in Rodange / Luxembourg who will be responsible for supervising and managing all strategic and business aspects of our manufacturing, sales & distribution business of stainless steel flat bars and coils across Europe. The candidate will report hierarchically to the CEO Services & Solutions

Aperam Stainless Services & Solutions Luxembourg, located in Rodange since 1992, is the European leader in stainless steel flats bars and in slitted coils of heavy thickness, with a yearly production of 30 kT and 50 employees. Multi-market with a wide range of products and applications, Aperam Stainless Services & Solutions Luxembourg is well-positioned to satisfy all of our customers’ needs.
Key stakeholders
CEO Services & Solutions, Head of Regions, Bars Luxembourg teams, S&S Management Team, other Services & Solutions Sites and Aperam Divisions, Local Public Administration and Unions.
Key responsibilities
The CEO is mainly expected to define the strategy to grow sustainably our flat bars and coils business in Europe and to achieve the main KPIs according to target: volume, market share, ebitda, operating free cash flow (OFCF), end-users sales, direct sales, added cost/t, H&S, diversity.
Sales & Marketing
> Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue and market share goals in the stainless steel sector.
> Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
> Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential clients in manufacturing, construction, automotive, and other sectors requiring stainless steel products.
> Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities and adapt the sales approach accordingly.
Finance
> Ensure profitability, cost competitiveness and manage the budget process
Production & Logistics
> Responsible for H&S and support the team operational activities
> Support the team in the supply chain processes as well as logistics towards our customers
Leadership
> Build trust relations with key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important internal or external shareholders
> Leads and develop the local Leadership Team through mentoring and coaching in complex subjects
Skills, Competencies & Behaviours
> Bachelor in Mechanical/Production Engineering or Business Administration
> Strong experience in Sales General Management/Director or CEO function in manufacturing environments, demonstrating a high level of leadership, strategic and operational management skills
> Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of driving sales growth
>* Entrepreneurship* and demonstrable track record of accountability, high level of autonomy to make decisions and drive the business, demonstrable track record of growing and/or turning around a business
> Health & Safety-oriented mindset
> Ability to shape our environment acting as a Change Management, ability to lead as a coach, influence and communicate with different players and at different levels
> Ability to work with Platforms and to connect in different Networks ; intellectual curiosity and ability to bring insight into the team/business, especially in a multicultural and multi-location environment
> Learning agility, resilience
> Full proficiency in French and English languages
