Summary

We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team at The Tooth Corner. This role is essential in supporting our dental professionals and ensuring a smooth, efficient operation within our offices. The ideal candidate will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality dental care in a friendly and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with health protocols.
• Manage patient records using Dentrix software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Schedule appointments and assist with front desk duties as needed.
• Support pediatric and orthodontic procedures as required.
• Able to work on Saturdays and some weekdays

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
• Familiarity with Paradigm software is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $23.00-$24.00 per hour

• Dental assisting: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Harp certification (required)
