Job Summary
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Level II Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental assisting, with experience in digital x-rays and Itero. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment where attention to detail and professionalism are highly valued. The position provides comprehensive training and opportunities for professional growth within our practice.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including invisalign, implants and crown and bridge.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all equipment is functioning properly
- Take digital radiographs and perform intraoral imaging
- Manage patient records accurately using Akitu software
- Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and greeting patients
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards
- Support the team with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
Experience
- Certified Level II Dental Assistant
- Prior experience in dental assisting is preferred
- Experience with digital impressions (Itero)
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental practice highly desirable
- Strong understanding of dental procedures, sterilization techniques, and infection control standards
Hours
Monday's 7:30-7:00pm, Tuesday's 7:30am-5:00pm, Wednesday's 7:30-5:00pm, Friday's 7:30-3:00pm. Additional hours possible.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
