- Orthopedic Technician Certification required
- Applies and removes casts, splints, and other orthopedic devices
- Conducts patient and family education regarding orthopedic appliances
- Teaches medical students and residents’ application of casts, splints and otherh orthopedic devices
- Assists RN in coordinating patient flow and rooming patients
- Obtain age-appropriate vital signs upon admission
- Documents patient care per established clinic policy and procedure
- Two years experience in healthcare setting (Orthopedic skills preferred)
- Orthopedic Technician Certification required
- BLS Required upon hire
