Responsibilities

• Design and implement diverse therapeutic recreation programs tailored to residents
• Lead engaging group activities such as arts and crafts, music therapy, fitness classes, social outings, and special events
• Manage the scheduling of recreational activities to ensure consistent engagement while accommodating residents’ routines and preferences.
• Works well with a small close knit team No documentation required at this level of care
• Promote a positive community atmosphere by encouraging resident involvement and facilitating socialization opportunities that reduce feelings of isolation.

Experience

• Proven experience working in senior care environments such as assisted living facilities or nursing homes with a focus on long-term care settings.
• Strong background in recreational therapy or therapeutic recreation with certification

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.69 - $22.75 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Work Location: In person
