Certified Vibration Analyst

This role consists in:

  • Conduct Vibration Analysis: Perform detailed vibration assessments on rotating machinery to identify and diagnose issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Data Interpretation: Analyze vibration data and trends to recommend corrective actions, maintenance schedules, and improvements for operational efficiency.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports detailing findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions, while maintaining accurate records of analysis.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with maintenance and engineering teams to implement vibration-related solutions and support root cause analysis of equipment failures.
  • SKF Online Monitoring System: Cooperate with the SKF online monitoring system to enhance real-time data collection and analysis, facilitating proactive maintenance strategies.
  • Integration of Industry 4.0 Tools: Scale up the use of Industry 4.0 technologies, including thermography, lubrication sensors, and other predictive maintenance tools across all production units to enhance equipment monitoring and reliability.
  • Training and Support: Provide guidance and training to staff on vibration monitoring techniques and best practices, fostering a culture of safety and proactive maintenance.

Role Requirements

  • Certifications: Certified Vibration Analyst (Category I, II, or III) from a recognized organization
  • Additional certifications in predictive maintenance technologies (e.g., thermography, lubrication management) are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in vibration analysis or predictive maintenance within an industrial environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in vibration analysis software and tools, data interpretation, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and prepare detailed reports.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex equipment issues and implement effective solutions.
