As Change Communications Specialist, you'll develop and execute comprehensive communication plans that align with our strategic goals and cultural principles, particularly Kaupapa Matua, through an HR lens. Your targeted messaging will reach our wonderfully diverse kaimahi (employees), ensuring everyone is informed, engaged, and onboard with our goals.
Your role in our Te Pai Tawhiti Transformation Office will be to gather kaimahi insights, facilitate dialogue, and create activities like Q&A sessions and feedback forums to foster involvement and ownership. You'll use this feedback to create engaging, proactive and responsive content for various platforms, acting as a change ambassador who promotes a culture of openness, collaboration, and trust through storytelling and advocacy. Tracking the impact and success of these communications will also sit with you so you can adjust your strategies as needed.

To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience in developing and executing communication strategies.
- Experience in the effective engagement of employees throughout significant periods of change.
- A sound understanding of kaupapa Māori principles and cultural sensitivity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Experience in content creation for various platforms.
- Strong organisation and project management skills.
