About the Role

We are seeking a talented, passionate, and reliable Chef to join our kitchen team at Rabelo. Located at the beautiful Carlingford Marina, we pride ourselves on delivering excellent food alongside our spectacular views.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a chef who is comfortable running a service, managing prep, and maintaining high culinary and food safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes consistently during busy service periods.
• Managing day-to-day kitchen operations, including stock control, food prep, and minimising waste.
• Ensuring strict adherence to HACCP, food safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Collaborating with front-of-house team members to ensure smooth, efficient service communication.
• Assisting in keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and safe at all times.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience working as a Chef in a busy, fast-paced commercial kitchen environment.
• Skills: Strong knife skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the capacity to work under pressure during peak weekend rushes.
• Availability: Full flexibility is required, including daytime, evening, and essential weekend shifts. Immediate start is preferred.
• Transport: Because our stunning venue is located at the Marina, we are a bit off the beaten path. A reliable car or living locally is essential to accommodate variable shift patterns.
