We are looking for an experienced and reliable Full-Time Chef to join our busy Korean BBQ buffet restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of Korean dishes, including hot dishes, side dishes and BBQ items
- Prepare and portion meats and other ingredients for the buffet
- Maintain food quality, presentation and consistency
- Monitor and replenish buffet items during service
- Manage food preparation and stock rotation to minimise waste
- Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen
- Follow food safety and workplace health and safety procedures
- Work efficiently with the kitchen team during busy service periods
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a chef or cook in a commercial kitchen
- Korean cuisine or Korean BBQ experience is highly regarded
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Good knife skills and food preparation skills
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
- Available to work a flexible roster, including evenings and weekends
- Full Australian working rights
Position: Full-Time Chef
Hours: Approximately 38 hours per week
Employment: Full-time
