Job Description

Farmhouse Café is currently seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our friendly and progressive kitchen team at our Long Mile Road location in Dublin 12. This is a full-time, permanent position, operating Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will be responsible for running a designated section of the kitchen and maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing, cooking, and presenting food to a consistently high standard
• Managing and running a specific section of the kitchen during service
• Collaborating closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team
• Ensuring all food safety, HACCP, and Health & Safety standards are followed
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and sanitary kitchen environment
• Assisting with stock control, stocktaking, and ordering supplies
• Operating kitchen equipment and reporting any maintenance issues
• Minimising waste and supporting efficient kitchen operations

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role
• HACCP training essential
• Excellent English communication skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Flexible, friendly, and professional attitude
