The Cahernane Hotel, Mucross Road, Killarney is a four star boutique 48 bedroom hotel just outside Killarney Town.

We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join the team.

€17 per hour, Full time.

Eligible candidates must have:

  • Accommodation within commuting distance
  • Eligible to work in Ireland
  • Good level of English
  • Experience cooking bar food in busy Irish Hotel, Pub or Restaurant

About The Role

What’s involved in the role:

  • Preparing mise en place and menu dishes for service for allocated section to the required standard specifications.
  • Ensuring the smooth running of food service in conjunction with the kitchen and restaurant teams.
  • Working in an organised, hygienic manner at all times ensuring the HACCP regulations are adhered to.
  • Receiving and storing supplier deliveries and stock rotation in accordance with HACCP specifications.
  • Maintaining kitchen in a clean and hygienic state.

Required Criteria

  • Chef de Partie experience of a minimum of one year
  • HACCP or Food Hygiene training and experience
