Step Into a Leadership Role – Chef Manager

Location: St Barts, East Perth WA
Roster: Monday to Friday | 40 hrs/week
Salary: Circa $79,499 - $90,000

Ready to lead your own kitchen? We're looking for an experienced Chef Manager to oversee kitchen operations at our East Perth aged care site. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for a trade-qualified chef with experience in high-volume bulk cooking and a passion for delivering quality meals that support resident wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small kitchen team
• Manage high-volume meal production, including texture modified meals
• Plan seasonal menus that meet dietary and resident needs
• Oversee ordering, stock, budgets and rostering
• Maintain food safety and Aged Care Quality Standards
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and care staff

Skills and Experiences:
About You

• Trade-qualified Chef with Food Safety Supervisor certification
• Experience in bulk cooking and texture modified meals
• Knowledge of IDDSI standards and modified diets
• Aged care or healthcare experience (preferred)
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
