CHF Bond Trader

This permanent position will be based in Zurich.

YOUR TEAM

The CHF bond trading team consists of two traders and one graduate trainee making markets in all CHF denominated debt instrument across rates and credit space

YOUR WORK DAY

Provide liquidity through market making in CHF denominated bonds focusing on credit space
Interacting directly or through the Swiss and international sales force with a wide range of clients including asset managers, treasuries, pension funds, insurance companies and private banks
Provide relative value trading strategies to increase flows within the firm and augment the firms brand
Set up and improve trading platform, funding, securities lending and borrowing tools to increase efficiency and effectivity

YOUR PROFILE

1-3 years of work experience as a sell side market maker focusing on CHF bonds
University degree (preferably in finance, economics or similar)

YOUR SKILLS

Good understanding of Fixed Income markets (particularly CHF), financial instruments and Global Macro
Speaks English and German, understands Swiss German
Strong IT skills (MS Office, VBA, Bloomberg)
