This is a strategic leadership role that partners closely with the Country General Manager and leadership team to translate strategy into measurable results. You will orchestrate the rhythm of business, ensure operational excellence, and accelerate growth in key areas such as AI, cloud, and security—while fostering a culture of inclusion and innovation.

As a visible external spokesperson, you will represent Microsoft’s impact in Finland, showcasing how our technology and partnerships drive sustainable growth, digital transformation, and AI leadership across industries.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications (RQs)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field, AND decade plus years related experience, including senior sales leadership roles, managing high-performance sales and/or technical-sales teams, coaching solution sales and account development strategies, and/or leadership roles in multi-tiered large organizations OR equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record in senior operational leadership within a complex, matrixed, multinational environment.
  • Expertise in business planning, forecasting, and performance management.

Additional or preferred qualifications (PQ)
  • Excellent executive communication and presence, able to simplify complexity.
  • Experience as an external spokesperson or thought leader is a strong plus.
  • Strong ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data and insights to drive decisions.
  • Fluency in English and Finnish language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Lead business operations: Own the planning and execution rhythm for the Finnish subsidiary, ensuring alignment with global priorities and local market needs.
  • Drive growth and performance: Monitor and improve forecast accuracy, pipeline health, and revenue predictability across all segments.
  • Orchestrate strategic initiatives: Land global programmes (AI, cloud, security) in Finland with clear success metrics and governance.
  • Enable leadership decisions: Provide actionable insights through data-driven reviews, dashboards, and executive briefings.
  • Partner ecosystem: Strengthen collaboration with partners to scale customer impact and accelerate co-sell opportunities.
  • Operational governance: Ensure compliance, risk management, and adherence to Microsoft standards in all business processes.
  • External representation: Act as a trusted voice in the market—engage with media, industry forums, and key stakeholders to highlight Microsoft’s role in AI innovation and sustainable business growth in Finland.
  • Culture and leadership: Champion Microsoft values, foster an inclusive environment, and develop talent across the organisation.
