Here4You Child and Youth Services Inc. is seeking skilled and passionate Child and Youth Workers to provide exceptional care and support to children and youth in need, enhancing their well-being, growth, and development.
Please note we are not hiring PSW for this role.

Through individualized care, supervision, structure, and evidence-informed intervention strategies, our staff support young individuals in developing lifelong skills, enhancing their quality of life, and working toward successful transitions to family homes or independent living.
Our team actively engages youth in community and recreational programs that promote personal growth, resilience, and overall well-being. In addition, Here4You provides community-based support services, assisting families through respite care, school support, and other individualized services to ensure continuity of care across home, school, and community settings.
The Role:
As a Child and Youth Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and youth with diverse needs, including those with physical or behavioural challenges. You will provide direct care, implement intervention strategies, and create opportunities for personal development, ensuring each individual feels valued and empowered.
What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking highly skilled and experienced professionals with a background in supporting children and youth who may face physical or behavioural impairments. If you are patient, empathetic, and passionate about helping young individuals overcome challenges and achieve their potential, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized direct support to children and youth with developmental disabilities and/or behavioural crises and complex needs.
- Support clients in various settings, including live-in treatment, residential care homes, family or foster homes, schools, hospitals, and the community.
- Monitor, document, and maintain daily shift logs, incident reports, medication charts, and other required documentation.
- Assist with meal preparation and promote proper nutrition for children and youth in care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment.
- Administer medications and complete Medication Logs accurately.
- Transport clients to and from appointments and community outings.
- Support daily hygiene routines and household chores.
- Build and maintain positive, professional working relationships with clients, families, and team members.
- Travel between various work sites as needed to provide services.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Child and Youth Worker, Community and Justice Services, Social Services, or a related field (or currently enrolled).
- Valid CPR and First Aid Certification (required)
- Certification in Understanding and Managing Aggressive Behaviour (UMAB) Required
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check or Broad Record Check (completed within the last 6 months) Required
- Child Welfare Check (Required).
- Valid G2 or G Driver’s License (required).
- Personal reliable vehicle with 2 million liability (Required)
- Flexibility to drive to different locations as needed.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, 8-hour shifts, 4-hour shifts (Required).
This position requires services in the Halton area, including Burlington, Oakville, Halton Hills, etc.
