Child Care Assistant 6am-10am

Little Hawks Child Care & Learning Center is seeking an assistant teacher to open our facility at 6am to greet our early students. This is a part-time, permanent position. The schedule will remain the same, 6am-10am Monday - Friday

We are a fast-growing, Locally owned and operated, childcare center specializing in providing early pre-school education to 3 & 4 year olds with before & after school care. We accept ages 2 1/2 to 12 years old. As we continue to expand, we are looking for energetic, passionate, and dependable individuals with a strong desire to teach our little Hawks and make a difference in every child's life each and every day!

Qualifications for assistant teacher

• CPR and First Aid Certification, or we will recertify you
• Basic computer skills to assist with projects and daily logging of child’s information
• Ability to engage in physical activity and lift up to 30lbs. when needed
• Familiar with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
• Meet background check requirements with fingerprint clearance
• Provide negative TB test results prior to starting position
• Strong communication and instructional skills
• Dependable and flexible with a strong work ethic
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent multi-tasking ability
