Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Child Care Assistant Director to lead and inspire our early childhood education programs. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, support curriculum development, and ensure a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for children. You will collaborate with staff, families, and community partners to foster a positive learning atmosphere that promotes growth, creativity, and well-being. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of education administration while managing program budgets and fundraising efforts to enhance our services.

Duties

• Assist the Director in managing daily program operations, ensuring compliance with licensing and safety regulations
• Support curriculum development initiatives that promote age-appropriate learning, social-emotional development, and inclusive practices
• Supervise teaching staff and classroom activities, providing mentorship and performance feedback to foster professional growth
• Lead strategic planning efforts to expand program offerings and improve educational quality
• Oversee budgeting processes, monitor expenditures, and identify fundraising opportunities to support program sustainability
• Coordinate with families to address concerns, communicate program goals, and promote community engagement
• Represent the organization at public events, conferences, and meetings through effective public speaking and advocacy efforts

Experience

• Proven management experience in early childhood education or education administration with a focus on leadership roles
• Demonstrated success in supervising staff and working directly with young children in classroom settings
• Strong background in curriculum development tailored to diverse learning needs
• Experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and fundraising within educational or nonprofit environments
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with staff, families, community partners, and stakeholders
• Prior involvement in public speaking engagements or community outreach initiatives related to early childhood education

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
